I just learned of Patti's passing yesterday. I was instantly filled with grief & extreme sadness at the loss of such a warm, young, sweet, kind & beautiful spirit who was a bright, shining light to every person she met. She treated all people the same, never passing judgement & always making us feel like V.I.P.'s, no matter how busy she was at that moment. Memphis has lost a national treasure. My condolences & prayers are with her family.

We loved Patty and will always miss her!!! She always greeted us with her beautiful smile and usually remembered our names.

We are so saddened to learn of Patti's passing. She was always so warm and friendly to us when we drove up from the Delta. Our thoughts and prayers are with your during this difficult time. May God grant you peace and understanding.

I met Patti when she worked for Paulettes at Madison Square; she was always so welcoming and kind. I'm very shocked and saddened to hear of her passing. I was just visiting home and Erlings in December; Patti gave me big hugs and was just as warm and gracious as ever.

My sincere condolences to Erling and Patti'e family...she will be missed.

Patti will be remembered as always being warm friendly and welcoming! She was sure to ask about our children and their all activities. We will miss her smile and bubbly personality. Erling and her family will remain in our prayers.

Patti had a way of making us feel like we were old friends the very first time we met her at the restaurant. And after that, we were friends. There was definitely something special about her warmth. Everyone who ever met her will miss her. She was too young to leave us. Erling, we are keeping you in our thoughts.

Dearest Erling, Patti's personal greetings at the door were always full of joy and heartfelt gladness that we were there to enjoy your fantastic flavors/concoctions of the day. My stepfather, Carl Steidtmann was treated with the utmost kindness by both of you and celebrated as a favorite everytime he graced your doors. So many good memories of her at Paulettes and then, especially, at Erling Jensen the Restaurant. Although we have moved away, she, Erling and the restaurant personnel are often in our thoughts.  Our condolances to the entire family.

Patti and I started waiting tables at Paulette's on April 17, 1986.  Needless to say she worked circles around me. Our boys were 8 months apart and we babysat for each other occasionally for work. Patti was honest, forthright, and genuine.  Rest in peace, Patti
