

Paul Hamby, 82, of Mountain Home, AR, formerly of Memphis, TN, passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2014. Mr. Hamby, a loving father, husband, and friend, was a member of the Methodist church. A Korean War Army Veteran and 32nd degree Mason, Mr. Hamby was loved by many. His daughters write, "Dad, you were a kind, generous man who gave to everyone you knew. You were a man with so many God given talents and gifts. You were a friend to everyone and had a heart of Gold. We will all miss you, but, we know you are at peace and with Mom again. We love you Daddy." Love Stephanie and Judy. Mr. Hamby was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Frances Hamby. He is survived by two daughters, Stephanie Hamby and Judy Bogan (Frank), two sisters, Charlotte Leach and Carolyn Kurts, four nephews, Charles Jackson, Mike Jackson, Bill Jackson, and Jimmy Jackson, one sister-in-law, Martha (Dot) Duffel, two good friends, Jesse Lively and Landon Cook, three grandchildren, Jamie Bogan, Andrea Penney, and Tara Douglas, as well as five great grandchildren, Emily Penney, Meredith Brown, Will Penney, Peyton Douglas, and Kameron Douglas. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 22, 2014 from 5-8pm and a Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 2pm, all at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave. Memphis.
