I met Paula when she interviewed me to work at Famous Cookies in the Mall of Memphis in 1984. She was so awesome then and I'll always remember the fun times we had. She loved her family and animals to pieces. She could talk about anything, and we would be on the phone for hours. I'm so thankful that I was able to spend some time with her at Rainbow Rehab. She made sure she spoke to the employees there, and she was friendly with the other residents. I will miss her a ton, and I send my condolences to all of her family and friends. 

I met Paula through our mutual love and caring for animals.  She always made sure that the stray cats she was responsible for were fed at the appointed times.   When she was going out of town Paula would call me to fill in for her.  Anyone who is that concerned for small creatures is a very special person.  Paula was a joy to know and will be missed.  

Paula was genuinely a dear, dear lady.  She was very kind and loving.  I hadn't seen her for awhile, but I will miss her.

So sad today after finding this out.  She was such a loving and giving person.  She was so good to my little dog, Gizmo, who loved her doggie Samantha.


I was a new friend that stepped in to your life when you were sick, weak and alone except for your six dogs and an incredible neighbor.
Even though you could barely walk or breathe...... your pets were always your first thought. Even though you were so ill, you always had a bright smile for me and asked about my Mom. At your weakest, you were still so bright and shining! I last saw you in your room as your daughter and granddaughter walked in to celebrate Valentine's Day with you- I will always remember your delighted smile at sunset seeing your family!

Paula, you will be missed. You were truly special to me and I now know why--- we shared the same birthday and we both loved Robin.  Stay strong family!!

Will miss your sweet soul. You always knew how to light up a room or brightened someone's day. You also  never forgot a birthday.  I'll never forget the last luncheon we had just the two of us at ponchos. I'm sure heaven gates were proudly open and welcomed you in.   You are no longer in pain and suffering. See you again someday my friend. Give our sweet friends Toni Roger's and Bsrbara Strong hugs. Three woman gone too soon. 

Dear Paula. Everywhere you went you spread sunshine. I honestly don’t know how you kept your spirits so high with all you have been facing over the last several years. I have been reading the private messages between us and it was you that was always lifting me it seemed. We were both experiencing critical health issues and we always knew each of us understood the other. I know heaven’s gates were wide open for you....Bless you sweet Paula. Fly high my friend. 💗
