Pauline Miller Graham

   Pauline made her heavenly transition on September 5, 2018 at Methodist University Hospital.   She attended Memphis City Schools and graduated from Douglass High School in 1957. After completion of high school she worked in Chicago, Illinois at the Teletype Company for more than 40 years until her retirement. Pauline and Wavery moved back to the Mid-South settling in Horn Lake, Mississippi.   She professed her faith in Jesus Christ at an early age at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church in Memphis, TN. She had other church affiliations in Chicago, Illinois and Horn Lake, Mississippi before returning to Morning Star.   She was united in Holy Matrimony to Wavery Graham on January 20, 1957.  To this union four children were born, Wavery Cedrick, Gregory Cornelius, Leonard Dwayne, and Tonyus Yvonne. She was predeceased by her husband in 1995, son Leonard in 2003, sister Bettye Jean Braswell in 2008, and daughter Tonyus in 2013.   Pauline was active in the Douglass Community Association and the Douglass High School Alumnae Association—Class of 1957. She served the Alumnae Association in various capacities to include being co-chair of their 50th class reunion. She always spoke fondly of her classmates.   She leaves to cherish her memory her sons, W. Cedrick (Bernadine) and Gregory Graham. Her nine grandchildren, Marico, Jasmine, and Sean (Lakisha) Graham, Tiffany (Brandon) King, Cameron Atkins, Jalen, Jordan, Cedrick, and Cavion Graham. She also leaves five great granddaughters, Mariah and Mia King, Leighton, Kai, and Sage Graham. One sister, Ptoshia Burnett and two brothers, Logan and Fitzgerald Burnett and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.   Visitation for Mrs. Graham is Friday, September 14, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm with funeral service Saturday, September 15, 2018 11:00 am both at M. J. Edwards Funeral Home Stage Road Chapel, 4445 Stage Road, Memphis, TN 38128. Interment will immediately follow funeral service in Greenview Memorial Cemetery, Nesbit, MS.
