Pauline Seward Summers, 98, lifelong resident of Eads, Tennessee, died January 29, 2011. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 31 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and funeral services will be Tuesday, February 1 beginning at 10:00 a.m. both at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens on Poplar Avenue. Burial will follow in Memphis Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. Summers was a longtime member of Eads Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Frank A. Summers. Mrs. Summers is survived by her daughter Jewel Dempsey; sons Jimmy (Sarah) Summers, Tommy (Beverly) Summers, Paul “Peanut” (Betty) Summers, Raymond (Mary) Summers and Dale (Denise) Summers; eleven grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
