Memaw would often enjoy a cake donut with her morning coffee. When I would stay at Memaw’s , I would get up in the morning to go sit at her kitchen table and eat a donut with her. Memaw always dipped her donut in her coffee before taking a bite. I wanted to be like Memaw and dip my donut in my coffee too so she would make me a cup of chocolate milk, in the same type of mug as hers and let me dip my donut into my “coffee”. I will forever cherish those special mornings with Memaw.

Ms. Peggy named me Mary. I guess I look like a Mary, even when corrected, I was still Mary. I am so thankful one of the last times I visited her, she called me Mary. She was so kind, funny, and beautiful. I remember telling her I was going home one evening and she offered to let me sleep under her bed. I remember telling her one evening that I had to go home and cook supper. She said “ I forgot about that, you can forget too and you won’t have to cook”. She was such a treasure to me and am so thankful to love her and care for her. She is worthy of so many jewels in her crown.

Best Mother-law you could ever want. She had a great humor and so dedicated to family. You knew she cared about you with all her heart. I like to joke a lot and she could always one up me. I miss her

I met Mrs. Peggy June Walker a few times at her home with her son and daughter. A very lovely lady. Also rode with Bobby to take her to get her hair done. She was a Beautiful person and True Saint if I ever saw one. She is now not tired anymore and at home where we shall see her and our loved ones again. Gone but not Forgotten.

My thoughts and prayers are with all the family. Your mother was such a generous lady. Frank and I were newly weds in 1968 and your mother gave us her old vacuum when she bought a new one. She was such a gracious lady. I know she will be missed. Love to all the family
