Philip Edward Fry, age 71, of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2022. Philip was born May 5, 1950 in Union City, Indiana. Philip was a proud 50 year member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW). He enjoyed being a member of the Single Action Shooting Society (SASS). An avid outdoorsman, Philip also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bud and Edna Fry. Philip is survived by his wife of 22 years, Mary Carolyn Fry; children, Abby Fry and Andy Fry (Jessica); grandchildren, Austin and Calvin Fry; siblings, Don Fry, Ted Fry, Joe Fry, and Carol Young; step-children, Michelle Barden (Daren) and Kimberly Fort (John); and step-grandchildren, Anna Barden, James Fort, Jay Fort, and Kloe Fort.
The family will receive friends at a visitation on Wednesday, April 20 from 4:00 until 6:00 PM, at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN 38119.
