Darlene & family,  I am so sorry to hear about Phil's passing.  He will be greatly missed but the memories will keep him alive in your heart.  I have so many fond memories of you & Phil in Fort Wayne.  I remember when each of the children were born.  Wish we would have stayed in touch.  We will have a glorious reunion one day with all our friends.  What a day of rejoicing that will be!  Mom is still living (93), she will be sorry to hear of his passing. Dad passed in 1995, he was 77.  Mom is still living, she's 93.  she's in a nursing home and doing well.  I wish we had kept in touch over the years.  I always loved both of you so much. One of  God's most gracious and faithful servants has graduated!  How much he and his precious family are loved and cherished, from here to Africa and back!
He baptized my sweet wife, Karen, her sister Kathy, and scores more. His legacy will continue to bless & enrich those whom he touched in his walk here.  I'll always cherish the first words of encouragement he gave me for a simple Bible reading at a Sunday morning worship service back in '78.  He's been a constant "Barnabas" to me ever since!  God comfort and bless his loved ones till we all meet again in a far sweeter place than this.

 Aunt Darlene, Denise, Debbie and Kevin, I am so sorry to hear about your dads passing. He was always one of my favorite uncles. I loved his corny and often times onrey jokes lol, he always made sure too keep everyone laughing. I will always remember how many times as a kid that he dropped me on my head! It got so bad, that mom cringed every time he picked me up lol. I hope you all find some comfort in knowing he is now in heaven, the place where he worked his entire life to get too. He is, probably right know, of course telling jokes, but probably bickering with grandma and listening to her gripe about grandpa lol. I know what it's like to lose a father, and unfortunately now a brother, so I feel your pain right now. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Much love to all of you, I wish I could be there.

Loved Phil.  One of the friendliest preachers I ever knew.  He would follow you all the way to the parking lot to shake hands with you.  My sympathy and love go to his family.

For the years of our association together it was always a pleasure to be in bro. Dunn's company.  Many times during his last years he did not feel up to teaching a class or preaching a sermon, but one could not tell that while he was in front of the class or in the pulpit.  Many times he would finish the class/sermon and go to his office and put his head down on his deks.   When he didnt seem to feel his best I would always tell him that his "joke book" subscription for the  month was late.  
He will be greatly missed at Berclair.

Mr. Dunn, I will always love and cherrish the jokes that you would always share with me when you dropped Ozzie off to be groomed. You were always sweet and caring to me. I would always ask you for your advice and you would always lead me in doing what God exspected me to do. I will never forget when I walked into Memphis Theology and Seminary,  I knew that you would be so proud to know that i had made the decission to serve God. I will never forget you. May you rest in peace.
