Rachel R. Ligon

Rachel was a faithful member of Bellevue Baptist Church and loved her Lord And Savior Jesus Christ. She had a long career in real estate as a property manager.

Rachel was a loving mother and a doting grandmother and great grandmother. She especially enjoyed making lasting memories with her large family and many friends.

Rachel is predeceased by her husband of 38 years, Robert K. Ligon.

She is survived by two sons Dale Scott, Mike Thomas, one daughter Renee Graham, two stepsons Robert K. Ligon Jr., David Ligon, two stepdaughters Barbara (Robert) Noe, Susanne (John) Terry, 19 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren.

A gathering of family and friends for Rachel will be held Friday, September 19, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, a celebration of life will follow at 2:00 PM both at Memphis Funeral Home - Poplar Chapel, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery following the service.
