Ramma Chopra

Ramma Chopra, age 82, of Collierville, TN passed away on April 13, 2023, peacefully and surrounded by close family. Ramma was born to Saraswati and B.L. Rakhra. She considered Collierville, TN home and also felt strongly connected to her roots in Banglore and Agra, India.

She completed a bachelor's degree from Mount Carmel College in Banglore, India in 1964. She was a very loving mother, wife, nani, dadi, sister, sister-in-law, mother-in-law, friend, and a human being. Her positive attitude and lively nature spread brightness everywhere. She immediately lit up any room she entered with a smile on her face. She found enjoyment and happiness in things like food, clothes, joyful music. We will miss her greatly, but will always celebrate her life. She is survived by son Puneet Chopra and daughter Preeti Arora. She is preceded by her husband Ved Parkash Chopra.

A funeral service for Ramma will be held Monday, April 24, 2023 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave, Memphis, TN 38122.
