

Ramon Milo Albonetti, age 89, passed away January 3, 2025. He was born October 27, 1935 in Memphis, Tennessee to Emilio and Louella Albonetti. He graduated from Immaculate Conception School and Christian Brothers University (then College). He served in the U.S. Marine Corps as a fighter pilot. He began his career with the Internal Revenue Service, later working for Wexner and Jacobson as their comptroller. He was an avid photographer and golfer, enjoyed playing the French horn and learning the violin. He also enjoyed traveling (especially Italy and Ireland). He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Ramon is survived by 9 children, James Albonetti (Nazime), John Albonetti (Milan), Jeanne Craig, Judi Laux (Ed), Andy Albonetti (Lorie), Ann Williams (David), Christina Shook (Phillip), Linda Albonetti (Bill Roberson), and Chuck Albonetti (Cathryn Ferloni); 19 grandchildren, Kardelen, Emily, Matthew, Vashti, Aaron, Elizabeth, Michelle, Connor, Annalise, Daniel, Christopher, Joshua, Brianna, Laura, Michael, Ashley, Caleb, Sky, and Dakota; 4 great-grandchildren, Grayson, David, Layton, and Indie; and niece, Dianna Williams and nephew, Jeff Tadin. Ramon was preceded in death by wives, Betty Albonetti and Nancy Albonetti; sister, Anita Tadin; and his parents.
The family will receive friends at a visitation on Tuesday, January 14 beginning at 10:30 AM to be followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:30 AM, all at Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit, 2300 Hickory Crest Drive, Memphis, TN 38119, where Ramon was a founding member of the parish. Interment with military honors will be rendered afterwards at 1:00 PM, at West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery. Memorial donations may be directed to the Church Health Center.
