Rebekah J. Buchanan, 75 of Memphis, TN was born May 12, 1940 in Morton, MS, passed away January 3, 2016. She leaves three sons, Stephen (Jodi) of Bartlett, John of Eads, Phillip of Memphis; two grandchildren, Brooke Buchanan and Gage Buchanan. Also leaves her mother, Addie Bess Key of Memphis, sister Pat (Jim) Gill of Germantown, brother Joseph (Denise) Key of Memphis and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by father Joseph J. Key, sister Carolyn Ramsey and her husband Larry J. Buchanan. Rebekah was a graduate of Central High in 1958. She attended the Memphis Art Academy and retired from Goldsmith's/Macy's after 31 years of service. Family will receive friends Thursday, January 7th at Family Funeral Care from 12-2 p.m., with service following at 2 p.m. The burial will take place in Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens.
