He is survived by his wife, Marcia Faye Carter, a son, Buster Carter, and a daughter, Rheanna Lambert. He is also survived by by two sisters, Doris McFerin and Nancy Hollowell.
Committal service and military honors will be rendered on Wednesday, July 9 at 10:00 AM, at West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, 4000 Forest Hill Irene Road, Memphis, TN 38125.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may directed to Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
