RICHARD KING “RICKO” WILSON, 79, passed away Monday, April 21, 2014 at Baptist Memorial-DeSoto in Southaven, MS. Mr. Wilson was a retired Lieutenant from the Memphis City Police Department and later retired from Horseshoe Casino as Director of Security. He also was an Air Force veteran. Ricko is survived by his loving wife, Betty Ann Wilson; son, Patrick Wilson (Tammy); brother, Dan Wilson (Barbara); and his grandchild, Catrina Wilson. In addition to his parents, Clyde and Myrtle Wilson he was preceded in death by his sisters, Nell Angelynn and Durlyn. Family will receive friends Wednesday, April 23 from 12 pm until the service starts at 2 pm at Family Funeral Care on Summer Ave. Burial will follow in Memphis Memory Gardens on Raleigh LaGrange Rd. The family asks that any memorials be made to an Animal Shelter of the donor’s choice.
