Robert Thomas Howell

Robert Thomas Howell, 65, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, went to be with his Lord April 15, 2019 at Baptist Memorial Hospital. He fought a long, hard battle but was eventually called home this past Monday. Robert is preceded in death by his father James Thomas Howell, mother Annie Lee Howell, and brothers James Randall Howell and Jimmy Allen Howell. He leaves behind his wife, Connie Barnes Howell, his children, James Thomas Howell (Jennifer) and Amanda Arlene Dupree (Michael), and his five grandchildren, Jasmine Dupree, Lillian Dupree, Thomas Howell, Flora Howell, and Olivia Dupree. An army veteran committed to his country and instilled with an unquestionable devotion to friends and family, he will be deeply and regrettably missed by all hearts left in the shadow of his passing. Family will receive guests on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 from 5 to 8 pm at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave. Funeral service will be held Thursday at 11:30 at the funeral home with a committal service and military honors to follow at West TN Veterans Cemetery.
