Robert (Bob) Lackey, 91, passed away Friday, October 17, 2025. Bob was a loving father and husband. He was a member of Providence Presbyterian Church where he served as a deacon for many years. Much of his social life revolved around his church and his family. He was a homebody who enjoyed working around the home, cooking, cleaning, and working in the yard. In his spare time he loved watching football and basketball. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lackey; daughter, Sandra Rossell; brothers, Edison, William, Jimmy and Cecil and sister, Sue. He is survived by his children, Rebecca Gatlin (Dan), Daniel Lackey (Donna) and Robert Jackson (Deb); grandson, David Gatlin (Ashton); brother, Ray and sisters, Katie, Mary Frances and Lillie.
The family will have a visitation Friday, October 24th at 9am at Family Funeral Care, followed by the service at 10am. The burial will take place at Memphis Memory Gardens.
