Ronald D. Raines

Ron was an artist by trade and in his soul. He was deeply loved and he loved deeply. He had a story for every occasion, and he had a fabulous sense of humor. He was a patriot. He had a strong faith in his God.

Ron is survived by his wife Laurie Rice Raines; sons Jason Raines (Elizabeth) and Timothy Raines (Emily); sons Geoff Miller (Nat) and Josh Miller; and daughter Marilyn Montgomery (Chase). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren: Gabe and Abby Raines; Bella, Brayden and Emry Raines; Tia Settles; Troy Miller; Lilly Miller; and Jaylen and Layla Montgomery. He was preceded in death by his mother, Corinne Raines, and father Talmadge Raines.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, December 1, at 2:00 p.m. at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Avenue in Memphis. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m.
