I had the pleasure of working with Ron in the Shared Services Center at the University of Memphis. Ron was a man of principal, and integrity, and most importantly faith! He loved his family, and I always admired how much love he would show when speaking about his son Ryan. He never missed an opportunity to pray, and I am thankful to have called him a friend.  

To the Smyres family, you all have my deepest condolences, and I pray that God continues to show his love and compassion towards you all during this time of loss.
