Mrs. Ruby went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, May 19, 2017. She leaves 5 daughters, Earnestine Hodges, Earline Perkins, Diana Smith, Margaret Robinson, Thelma Dixon; 3 sons Oscar Harris Jr., Larry Alexander, and Floyd Alexander, Jr.; and a brother Bobby Joe Rutherford. She was preceded in death by daughter Peggy Burkins. The wake will be at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue on Friday, May 26th from 5pm – 7pm. Funeral services will be held at New Philadelphia Missionary Baptist Church, 533 S. Mendenhall Road, Memphis, TN 38117 beginning at 10AM on Saturday, May 27, 2017.
