Sam T. LoBianco, 91 passed away peacefully at his home on July 24, 2026, just shy of his 92nd birthday. Born August 14,1934 in Memphis, TN, Sam was the son of Thomas Joseph LoBianco and Antoinette Peri LoBianco. He graduated from CBC High School and College. Following in his parents' footsteps, he owned and operated several small businesses the last being Toney's Fruit Stand in downtown Memphis.
Sam was a lover of all genres of music (especially 50s music). He was also a lover of classic movies and had an unmatched passion for dancing.
Sam cherished spending time with beloved family and friends. He is survived by his children, Toni Blount, Diane Lucchesi (Phillip), Tom LoBianco, Catherine Opfer (Robert); his grandchildren, Sarah Lucchesi Napier (Eric), Johnny Blount (Tristan), Sam Lucchesi (Ellen), David Blount, Matthew Opfer, Nick Opfer (Ella), Maria Blanchard Taylor (Bates), Michael Blanchard (children of dear friends Gia and Paul Blanchard), and one great-grandchild, Luke Bradley Napier. He is preceded in death by his son-in-law, John Blount (Toni) and his beloved wife, Vivian LoBianco
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 29 at Memphis Funeral Home on Poplar from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM with rosary at 7:00. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 30 at Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Cordova, TN.
Memorials may be sent to Saint Jude Children's Hospital or West Cancer Clinic.
