Sarah A. Meadows, 93, of Collierville, TN passed away January 30, 2012. Mrs. Meadows was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Leonard Meadows. She was a member of Capleville United Methodist Church all of her life. She was past president of the Crossroads Club and various other civic organizations. She retired from Shelby County Schools. Mrs. Meadows is survived by two children, Larry Meadows (Linda) of Batesville, MS and Melanie Varner (Marty) of Collierville, two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and her two sisters, Doy DuBose of Nolensville, TN and Fay Nichols of Memphis. Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 1, at Capleville United Methodist Church with burial in Bethlehem Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 12 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be sent to Capleville United Methodist Church.
