Sarah F. Young, 79, lifelong Memphian died November 13, 2011 at Methodist Germantown Hospital. A graduate of Humes High School, Mrs. Young retired from the University of Mephis. Her family will receive guests and friends on Wednesday, November 16 from 6PM – 8PM and funeral services will be Thursday, November 17 beginning at 10AM all at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens on Poplar Avenue. Mrs. Young was preceded in death by her husband August “Jack” Young, Jr. She is survived by her daughter Jamie Ramey (John) of Little Rock, AR; son Allen Young (Pam) of Byhalia, MS; brother Curtis Fort of Woodbury, TN; grandchildren Sarah & Jack Ramey, Elizabeth Phillips and Brandon Brock.
