2018 at St. Francis Hospital, Bartlett. Born July 18, 1950
to H. M. and Myra Nelson in Memphis, TN. She was a
loving wife, mother, and Mie Mie. She loved traveling and
spending time with her family. Before retirement, she
worked as a crossing guard for the Bartlett Police
Department and as a site manager for the YWCA. She
leaves her husband of almost 47 years, Ronnie Horn;
two daughters, Jeanie Anderson(Steve) and Kerrie
Hargrove(Jeremy); four grandchildren, Presley & Callie
Anderson and Paislie and Reese Hargrove all of Bartlett,
TN; her sister, Phyllis Caudle(Gene) of Milton, GA, and
her sister-in-law, Judy Fuson of Mountain Home, AR.
She was a lifetime member of Grimes Memorial United
Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 5-
7pm, Monday, September 10 at Family Funeral Care. A
funeral service will be held at 10am, Tuesday, September
11 at Grimes Memorial United Methodist Church with
interment to follow at Memphis Memory Gardens. The
family requests memorials be sent to St. Jude Children’s
Research Hospital.
