Shirley A. Hensley, 86, of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away June 10, 2023, at her residence. Shirley was retired from Hensley Heating & Air Conditioning, the family business she co-founded with her late husband, Thomas “Tom” Hensley. She was preceded in death by her parents Louie and Edna Arnett of Memphis, and sisters, Juanita Burkett of Memphis, Dorothy Jones of Moore, Oklahoma and Gloria Kinkade of Hernando, Mississippi. She is survived by her daughter, June Whitaker of Cordova, Tennessee; sons, Randy Hensley (Donna) of Memphis and Larry Hensley of Collierville, Tennessee; and grandchildren, Bridget Zaborski of Southaven, Mississippi, Aaron Whitaker (Palm) of Lithia, Florida, and Kevin Hensley and Dylan Hensley of Memphis; as well as three great-grandchildren.
Graveside service and interment will be held Wednesday, June 14 at 10:00 AM, at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN 38119. Family and friends may follow the YELLOW ARROWS from the cemetery's Poplar Avenue entrance to locate the graveside.
