Stephanie Mariencheck Barringer

Stephanie dedicated her career to the field of cosmetology, where she found great joy in helping others feel confident and beautiful. She also served with pride in a secretarial role for the City of Memphis, contributing her skills and professionalism to her community.

Known for her kindness and generous heart, Stephanie touched the lives of everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. She had a passion for cooking delicious meals for her family and friends, enjoyed getting lost in a good book and painting, and always loved finding a great deal while shopping. Stephanie possessed an extraordinary ability to nurture deep, lasting relationships and was cherished by all who crossed her path.

Stephanie was preceded in death by her loving parents, Mr. Thomas H. Boyd and Mrs. Johanna M. Boyd; her sister, Cindy; and her brother, Robert.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and memories to be cherished by her devoted husband, Timothy W. Barringer; her children, Gary W. Mariencheck Jr. and Ryan Mariencheck; her beloved niece and "bonus daughter," Peri Gulstrom; one sister, Renee (Clayton) Culpepper; and three brothers, Thomas (Denise) Boyd, Patrick (Michelle) Boyd, and Phillips. She is also survived by her treasured grandchildren: Lane, Aiden, and Clarie Mariencheck; eleven nieces and nephews; sixteen great-nieces and great-nephews; and one great-great-nephew.

Stephanie’s warmth, laughter, and unwavering love for her family will be remembered always. She will be dearly missed.

A visitation for Stephanie will be held Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Ave., Memphis, Tennessee. A funeral service will occur Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 11:00 AM. A committal service will occur at Memphis Memory Gardens, 6444 Raleigh Lagrange Rd, Memphis, Tennessee.

Serving as pallbearers are Chris Wierson, Cristofer Culpepper, Josh Lonard, Jose Rodriguez, Reid Gulstrom, and Donald Gibson.
