Stephenie was born March 29, 1953 in Kansas City, Kansas. She graduated from Wooddale High School in 1971. She was a devout Christian and loved the Lord with all of her heart. She worked at Perkins Corporate Office, Carlisle Corporation, and TopRx during her career where she made many lifetime friends. Stephenie was someone who people gravitated too because of her warm smile and warm heart. She genuinely was one of the kindest people you would ever meet.
She adored her children and grandchildren and would light up when she spoke of them. Her children truly were some of her best friends and she was so proud of each and every one of them.
She fought hard the last couple of years but unfortunately her body could no longer keep up. She will be missed more than words will ever be able to express. Stephenie was preceded in death by her mother, Melba; sister, Candi and her parents Joe and Wanda Sears. She is survived by her children: daughter, Christi Reinhardt (David); son, Trey Hughes (Michelle); daughter, Candice Moore; step daughter, Ashley Murray (Asher); and by her brothers, Stephen Mellinger, Chris Sears (Gail), and Aaron Mellinger. She leaves behind her beloved Grandchildren who were the brightest light in her world; Skylar, Kayla, Ethan, and Harper.
Services will be held Saturday, November 21, 2020 at 3:00 pm at David and Christi’s home.
The family would like to express our thanks for the wonderful help and care given by the nurses and respiratory therapists at Baptist Restorative Care. While we were unable to love on her most of her stay due to the current world situation, you loved on her for us and we are eternally grateful for the love you showed our mother.
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the Faith”. 2 Timothy 4:7
