Susan Carol (Read) Fuller, of Collierville, TN, passed away early Thursday, November 1, 2018 at the age of 64. Susan was born in Memphis, TN on October 4, 1954, the third child of Guy Monteers Read and Carolyn Mae (Johnson) Read. She was preceded in death by her father, Guy Read, and brother, Monte Read. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, (James) David Fuller, and her children Stephen Fuller (Emily) and three granddaughters Peyton Olivia (11), Grace McLean (11) and Rowan Elizabeth (8) of Wake Forest, NC; Teresa (Fuller) Waineo (Al) and four grandchildren Nathan Thomas (9), Matthew James (7), Hannah Caroline (5) and Jacob Henry (5) of Fredericksburg, VA; and David Fuller Jr. of Pottstown, PA. She is also survived by her mother Carolyn Read, sisters Debbie (Tom) Orians, Brenda (Scott) Southerland, Cathy (Kent) Cherry and Karen (Nick) Venditti; mother-in-law Jewel (Gary) DeMars, sister-in-law Anne (Larry) Warlick, and brother-in-law Philip Fuller. She is also survived by 29 nieces and nephews. Susan worked as the Administrative Assistant for the Director of Athletics at Christian Brothers University for the past 17 years. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, known lovingly by her grandchildren as Nana. From hosting Thanksgiving dinners, planning family reunions, taking trips to the beach or lake, or just being around all those she loved, she cherished all the times spent together with family and friends. Humble, kind and beautiful, her smile continued to shine no matter the circumstance. She will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 4, from 3 - 6 PM at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN. Funeral Services are scheduled for 10 AM Monday, November 5 at Memphis Funeral Home - Poplar with procession to Memphis Memory Gardens, 6444 Raleigh Lagrange Rd, Memphis, TN, immediately following.
