

Born September 3, 1956, in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada, Sue dedicated her life to caring for others. After graduating from the nursing program at Lambton College, she embarked on a remarkable 40-year career as a nurse at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Her compassion and commitment touched countless lives.
In retirement, Sue brought her generous spirit to Germantown, Tennessee, where she continued serving her community through organizations such as the Kiwanis Club of Germantown, Les Passees, the Kiwanis Club of Bluff City which she helped sponsor, the Germantown Senior Citizens Commission and the Germantown Garden Club. Her legacy of kindness and service will be remembered by all who knew her.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents, James “Jim” Yarkovsky and Joan Isabela Yarkovsky.
She is survived by her two daughters, Anna Yarkovsky and Meahni “Mimi” Olsson. Sue’s love for her family was unconditional and unwavering, and she took immense pride in her daughters’ accomplishments. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
