Sylvia Herring Clark, 72, passed away October 9, 2016. She was born June 20, 1944 in Tupelo, MS. She was passionate about caring for people and enjoyed a long career in nursing at St. Francis Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her father James Herring and her brother Pete Herring.
She is survived by two daughters, Shana Clark and Kelly (Vincent) Bonanno. one son, Shawn Clark, her mother Sue Herring, sisters Sherryl (Hershall) Pruitt and Mary Sims, 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Family Funeral Care.
