I was so sorry to hear of Larry's passing. I first met him back in 1969 when he worked as an engineer at Ellers, Reaves, Fanning and Oakley. He was a great guy with a wonderful sense if humor. So sorry for your loss.

Dear Dylan,
This morning I was saddened to learn about your fathers passing last week.
I read through everyone’s memories. He certainly made a lasting impression on his friends and those he worked with at Autozone.
I will never forget the times we sat on the sidelines and watched you and Mason play tennis or whatever you were doing at Harding Academy together.
Each time I saw him after you were grown he would be excited to share your latest accomplishments!
My deepest sympathy and love to you, your Mom, and sister. Psalm 139 xoxo

Larry and I go back 26 years at AutoZone to when I was litigation manager and I got to work with the real estate lawyers when property matters went bad. I remember how easy it was to work with Larry and how respectful and nice he always was. I left the company and came back 10 years later, and of course Larry saw me in the hall with his trademark smile and knew exactly who I was. From then on, I looked forward to passing him in the hallway because he always brightened my day. I am so sorry I didn't know about this sooner or I would have attended the services. But thank you so much for sharing all the great memories of Larry on the beautiful tribute video so we could all enjoy and remember them too. Larry was a very special man and I am sure he is smiling up in heaven. Prayers and love to you all. Ann Lee

We are so sorry to hear of your loss. We knew Larry from Obion & went to school with him. We haven't seen him in years, but he hasn't changed much, still looks like the Larry we knew. We know he will be missed by you his family & the many friends that he must have had. Bless you all.

Larry you will always have a special place in my heart...the only person to call me Cindy Sue. I remember from an early age how special your visits were and how happy everyone would be when you made the trip to Obion. Just as heartwarming to see pictures and hear the stories from friends and family. Your humor, wisdom and care are constants throughout all. My heartfelt condolences Dylan and Jessica.

So long my friend. It’s been almost 50 years since we met that first year of law school when you introduced me to some new music. I had just come home from the Army. My favorite was John Prine, and he still is.
I will never forget your smile. It was one for the ages.

I met Larry Ledbetter more years ago than I can remember. If Larry were here he would remind me that my memory was not the issue and most contractual language was inherent and prepaid.
A small price compared to his office at AutoZone and the value added tax he brought to my personal life.
He never knew (but would have cared and noted) that the people we meet no matter how brief the interaction can change our perspective and more importantly moderate our emotions.
We were all fortunate to have him in our lives.

Larry and I grew up in the same small town. He was three years older and easily my best friend. After school and the army we reconnected in Memphis and became roommates for a few years.....so many great times. I have missed him greatly over the years yet never so much as now.............May God bless and rest easy buddy. You will never be forgotten...........

My condolences to Dylan. Your dad loved you like no other. When he spoke about you and he did frequently, he always had a sparkle in his eye and a smile on his face.
Larry was my mentor and I am proud to call him my friend. He taught me all that I know about real estate and how to practice law with grace, fairness, and integrity. He will be truly missed. I am grateful to him for his insights, gentle spirit and wonderful sense of humor.

Dear Dylan, learning of your Dad’s passing has been very upsetting to me. The reason, I believe, is he was very special, and I am deeply saddened that I was not able to get to know him better. The four years Larry and I overlapped, while you and Andrew did college together, were not enough (even though I never seemed to miss him during the many trips we made to Memphis). He was indeed special: a handsome and charming gentlemen; a smart and wise person; most importantly, a man of faith. Though I regret not being able to build a deeper relationship with him in this earthly realm, I have great hope I will in the heavenly realm. May God bless you and your family as you move through this difficult time. I am praying for you all.

I want to offer my deepest condolences to the Ledbetter family for your loss. I am so glad to have had the pleasure of working with Larry at AutoZone. He was always willing to help and share his wisdom. I actually owe Larry a bottle of Dom Perignon for a recent document that I needed him to draft in a hurry. I offered him a bottle of Grey Goose, but he told me, “ I will take care of it. Dom Perignon for this!” I guess I’ll have to pay my debt when we meet again upstairs. He will be genuinely missed.

Dylan and family,
We are so sorry for your loss and offer our deepest condolences. I worked with your dad at AutoZone a few years back, and I still remember how he so LOVED you! His “smile and blue eyes” will be missed, as well as his intellect. He was “the best” Real Estate attorney, well respected and liked by all that knew him! Rest in Paradise Larry.
