Thomas Robert Vance died on November 8, 2015. An Army Veteran who served in Vietnam with the First Calvary division. He was a member of the Summer Avenue Masonic Lodge and a former maintenance coordinator for A. E. Stanley who retired after 30 years of service. The family will gather at Family Funeral Care on Wednesday, November 11th from 5 to 8 p.m. and funeral services will be on Thursday, November 12th at Family Funeral Care at 2 p.m. with burial to follow at Big Creek Cemetery in Millington, TN. Mr. Vance was preceded in death by his son Robert Ryan Vance. He is survived by his son Thomas Robert (Helen) Vance of Houston, TX; his fiancée, Brenda Williams; sisters Helen Austin, Betty (Michael) VonBoeckman; brothers James (Carol) Vance, Howard (Beverly) Vance and Charles Vance; four grandchildren Gillian, Robert, Vivian and Lillian.
