He spent most of his career as a truck driver and remained a trusted source for the best routes—whether highways, interstates, or back roads—right up until his final days. His knowledge of the road was truly remarkable and he would never hesitate to let you know if you were traveling the “wrong” way.
Tom was a former member of Park Avenue Church of Christ in Memphis, TN, and Julington Creek Church of Christ in Jacksonville, FL. His kindness, wisdom, and love will be treasured by all who knew him.
If you would like to honor Tom, you may send flowers or make a donation in his name to The Foundation of Community Hospice and Palliative Care (https://thefoundationcares.org/give/).
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 5 at 12:30pm at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue with his funeral to follow at 1:30pm at Memphis Funeral Home. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Tom’s life.
