

Toni Lee Parker Greene, of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away on June 14, 2026. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cullum Etheridge Greene, Jr., and her parents, Rosalie and R. Eugene “Tony” Parker. She is survived by her children, Leah Greene, Parker Greene (Audra), three grandchildren, Ellaina, Kelman, and Caleb Greene, as well as her sister Gwenice McLaughlin of Memphis and brother R. Eugene Parker (Sara Jane) of Vicksburg, Mississippi. She is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
Toni was born on June 3, 1942, in Laurel, Mississippi. She graduated from Blue Mountain College in 1964 with a degree in speech and drama where she was active in tennis and theater. She later moved to Memphis, where she met her husband, Cullum, after beginning work on a Masters in Speech Pathology.
She worked as a speech therapist with the Shelby County and Walls, Mississippi school systems. She was also a swim instructor at children’s camps and an office manager for Greene Animal Hospital.
Toni was an active member at Bellevue Baptist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir and serving in other ministries. She later joined Crossroads Baptist Church. She loved cheering for her favorite teams in football and was an avid tennis and golf fan. She also loved serving others by sharing her gifts of service and hospitality by hostessing dinners for friends and taking homecooked meals to families who needed them.
She taught her children to make everyone feels welcome and serve others cheerfully.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN 38119, US, on June 20, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm, followed by a Memorial Service at the same location on June 20, 2026, at 5:00 pm.
