Troy D. Barton, 52, of Southaven, MS, died October 20, 2014. Mr. Barton was a retired elevator mechanic and United Methodist Minister. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Laurie A. Barton; two daughters, Anna and Catherine Barton; his parents, Charles and Ann Barton; one sister, Donna Hughey; and his beloved dog, Chloe. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 23, 2014 from 5-8 pm at Minor Memorial United Methodist Church, 6120 Goodman Road, Walls, MS. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 24, 2014 at 10am. Interment will follow in Edmondson Cemetery.
