Mr. and Mrs. Wells and Tyre's family,
I wanted to write and express my sympathy for your unimaginable loss. I live in NH and did not know Tyre or anyone in your family, but his story has moved me so, so deeply. I've been teary, mourning your son and feeling so much anger at his loss to your family. Tyre was so young and handsome, and an amazing skateboarder! What I've read has so impressed me about Tyre; his kindness, boyish charm, and his deep love for his mother. I wish your family continued strength after the horror of the last few months and know that I'm praying for the mom he adored, praying for Justice For Tyre, and for a time in our nation where young men who look like Tyre are no longer targets of law enforcement. Thinking of you in your time of sorrow. I'll not forget Tyre, in fact, I'll think of him whenever I see a sunset.

I offer this condolence with my highest respect for Tyre Nichols and his family. The little things I read and saw about Tyre, i.e., his writings, his photography, his skateboarding, and his wonderfully warm and friendly smile, also his respect and gratitude toward his family, prove to me that Tyre was a wonderful person; someone who was lovable and loving. I have no doubt that Tyre could light up a room and make people feel good in his presence.
To the Nichols family, I pray for all of you to find the strength, within yourselves, to focus on the many wonderful memories you have of him. Go forward in life, gradually, and know that Tyre loved all of you.
Tyre was a gift; may the memories heal you during the duration of your lives. Tyre rests joyfully now in the kingdom of God, where he peacefully waits to be reunited with all of you again. God bless you all.

Dear Nichols Family
I have only been this heartbroken for somehow l didn’t know once before. That was when l read the Diary of Anne Frank for the first time as a young girl. I hope you don’t think l am presumptuous by saying l understand little bit about how talented Tyre was. I have been looking at his website and the sunsets are just breathtaking. So is the picture of the boy and girl on the playground.
Please keep the website up. Let us see that side of him

Tyre, s family
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We love you all. Want to express our sympathy. My birthday is the same day as Tyre just a different year. It makes my birthday even more special .Tyre has a very special place in me and my husband's heart. When we first moved to Memphis in 2020 Tyre wad kind enough to point my husband to staff line as he wad looking for a job.he landed the next day. The job is no longer in business my husband is now at corky's in olive branch. This shows he's a beautiful soul.we were strangers he helped us. If he's buried in Memphis let me know. My husband and I would like to put flowers on his grave. Especially on our birthday every year

To the family of Tyre Nichols;
There are little words to take away your pain, but Tyre's celebration of his life during the church service today clearly showed the outpouring of Love for him.
Tyre you are a very special son, brother, and father. I pray for your spirit to continue to shine on in the hearts of those who feel your absence.
As you are now reunited with those who have gone before you, may your family be comforted knowing they will see you again.

To Tyre's family...I would feel so blessed to be able to purchase some of Tyre's photography, I can only imagine the thousands of people who would also if you should decide to share his gift.

May the Lord continue to guide you and bless you with his presence.
May Tyre Rest in a peaceful sleep.

Dear Mrs. Wells,

As a mother myself I cannot even begin to imagine the depth of your loss and the depth of your grief. My grandsons laugh when I call my son (6'8" and 53 years old) my baby, but they are always our babies.

From what we've all learned about Tyre he seems like a joyful, gentle, caring soul. That's who you raised and guided into adulthood. What a loss for his son, to not grow up guided by such a father.

I imagine Tyre building a giant skate park in heaven for all the young people (or young at heart) who are gone too soon.

You have shown such grace at the worst time in your life and I just wish I knew the words that would bring some comfort.

With love to you and your family,

Marlowe Parkin

Family, I'm thinking of you. I know my words can't take away your sense of loss, but I hope you can find some comfort in knowing the memories you shared are forever.
