I was so sorry to hear about Vernon. He was one of my favorite people at Baptist College. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, especially my friend Sherita.

I'm going to miss Rev. Jackson's Altar Prayer and Sermons.  He was such a gentle and kind person.

Vernon was such as pleasant soul. Always had a warm smile that would light any dull day. BCHS will never be the same without him. Rest with the Angels Vernon. I pray that your family finds solace during this hard time.

He was a man who loved his family and always kind to everyone. He will be missed at Bethlehem.

As a librarian at the Baptist College of Health Sciences, I worked with Vernon for several years before I retired this April. He was one of my more favorite people at the College--intelligent, kind, friendly, and we often talked when he had time. I found it interesting that he was a preacher and a deer hunter. Of course I assumed I would talk to him again some day when I visited the College--shocked that he will not be there. Good man, Vernon.
