

Virginia E. Taylor, 89, passed away in Germantown, Tennessee on December 16, 2011. Virginia is preceded in death by her loving husband Keith Walter Taylor and grandson Keith Taylor Eaton. She is survived by her three daughters; Diane Taylor Newton (Edward), Marjorie Taylor Levy (William), and Leslie Taylor Batte (Michael), one son Danial Walton Taylor (Kimberly), her grandchildren Jennifer Piest, Leslie Aclin, Laurie Walker, William Levy, Lauren Logo, Virginia Batte, John Taylor, Kate Taylor, and Shea Taylor, and 14 great grandchildren. Virginia was born in Wollastan Mass., and came to Memphis during World War II as an American Airlines stewardess. In 1946, she was married to her sweetheart Keith. Virginia is a life member of Germantown Presbyterian Church, and taught 6th grade Sunday school for fifteen years. Virginia also served as the Floral Committee Director at Germantown Presbyterian church. Virginia was part of the University Club of Memphis, LeBonheur Club, Salvation Army, Suburban Garden Club, and many other organizations. Memorial donations can be made to Germantown Presbyterian Memorial Garden Association, LeBonheur Club, and the Salvation Army. Virginia will always be remembered for her loving, kind, and spirited heart. She cherished her friends and family. A celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday, December 21st at 2:00 p.m. at Germantown Presbyterian Church 2363 Germantown Rd S.
