Willard L. Dunlap, Sr., 92, of Nesbit, MS passed away on Saturday, November 28th, 2015. He was preceded in death by his wife Fern Geneva Dunlap and his daughter Linda Sue Nesbitt. Mr. Dunlap is survived by his daughter Shirley J. Arthur and son Willard L. Dunlap, Jr., four grandchildren Lesli Ward, Sandy Cooper, Danyelle Craig and Tracey Weichel, eleven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Mr. Dunlap served proudly in the US Army during WWII. He received numerous medals including three Purple Hearts. He was also a Mason and a Deacon at Trinity Baptist Church. The family will receive friends and relatives on Wednesday, December 2nd from 11-1pm at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Ave. Memphis, TN. 38119. The funeral will begin at 1pm. Interment will follow at Nesbit Cemetery in Nesbit, MS.
