William A. (Bill) Fletcher, 90, of Gainesville, GA and Memphis, TN passed away peacefully December 2, 2013. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 35 years, Shirley Fletcher. Billed traveled the world for business and pleasure but was always glad to be back home to enjoy golf and cruising with family and friends. He was also an avid fan of Ohio State University, where he received a degree in engineering. A World War II veteran, Bill had tears of remembrance and gratitude when he was able to travel to Washington, D.C. on the Honor Flight. Bill is survived by nieces Sue Neal, Kathy Reeves, Nephews Jim Fletcher, Leo Gartland, and sister-in-law Ruby Gartland. A family memorial service will be held in Memphis, TN. Bill’s family wants to thank his loving friends for their care and friendship. Contributions in Bill’s name may be made to the Honor Flight or McEver Road Methodist Church, Gainesville, GA.
