William “Brad” Guthrie, Sr., 73, of Memphis, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2015. Mr. Guthrie, a 1959 graduate of Treadwell High School, was an avid motor cycle rider and belonged to the Masonic Lodge where he was a 32nd degree Master Mason. He was also a member of the Scottish Rite and was a Shriner. Mr. Guthrie was preceded in death by his parents, Harry E. Guthrie and Frances W. Guthrie and his son, William “Bill” Guthrie, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sandra L. Guthrie, his daughter, Tonya Wright, his son, Tracey Guthrie, one granddaughter, Heather Wright, DVM, three grandsons, Bradley Guthrie, Bradford Guthrie, III, and Jonathan Dawson, and one great-grandson, Bryson E. Guthrie. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 7, 2015 from 1 pm until the service begins at 2 pm at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave. Memphis, TN 38122. Interment will follow in Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. Bartlett. Memorial contributions may be made to the Vietnam Veterans of America
