Dearest Norcross family, I am so sorry about your loss. Daddy just called this morning and told me he had heard about it. I would have loved to have been able to come and give you this in person had I known! This is Susie House (now Kessler) and he and all of you were such a HUGE influence in my life and I will always cherish the memories made with you! I will be trying to contact you Allison! Love to all!

I already miss you grandad and our conversations about the military and cutting your hair while talking about how your friend in the air force broke the heels off all of his wives shoes. I love you and ruger apologizes for jumping on you on the bed he was trying to give you one last kiss

Dee, Christy, McNeal and Ty -
You have my deepest sympathy. I am going to miss the history lessons and discussions we had. I know Christy and the boys miss him deeply. May God offer you peace during this time.

Ernie was truly a great guy. He could argue about the law and our cases and still delight in the exchange of other ideas. We are lucky to have known such a remarkable person.

My heart and prayers go out to the family. During the practice of law, I was blessed to have a couple of matters with Erniel. He was a patient and loving man, even in times of lawsuits. He held up his clients interest, but always in a very forthright and ethical manner, and it was a very pleasant encounter to work with or against him. Hold on to your fond and positive memories of him. Jerry F. Taylor (Memphis)

There are not words to describe how much Ernest (Grand-daddy) meant to my boys and me. Definitely the smartest man I knew and one that made me feel more like a daughter than a step-daughter. I will miss the trivia phone calls! Love you and miss you so much!

Allison and Dee, I am sorry for your loss. I will always remember how dedicated Ernie was to his family and of course, to the law. He was truly a brilliant man. Thinking of you both in your time of sorrow.
