Carol B Jakubek

Age 87, Menasha, passed away n Monday March 31, 2014 at Mayflower Assisted Living.  She was born April 17, 1926, the daughter of the late Riley and Ida (Idland) Cleveland.  She graduated from Menasha High School in 1946.  She married Raymond Jakubek SR on August 31, 1946, he preceded her in death on July 15, 1987.  Carol was a Home Maker most of her life until her youngest was raised when she began work for Industrial Towel and Uniform until her retirement April 15, 1988.

Carol enjoyed her Packer, Brewer and Wisconsin games.  She loved bowling, playing cards and going up north with her dear friends Betty and Sue.  Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Her survivors include; her children Rick Jakubek, Poy Sippi, Paul (Cyndi) Jakubek, Bozeman, Montana, Dale (Priscilla Holloway) Jakubek, Neenah, Jim (Sue) Jakubek, Appleton, Ray (Penny) Jakubek, Larsen, Patty (Bob) Christensen, Lima, Ohio; four grandchildren Dylan and Hannah Jakubek and Erin and Brooke Christensen.  Carol is further survived by her sisters in law Mary Joyce Koester, Menasha, Ernestine Jakubek, Menasha and Roseann Cleveland, Sheboygan.  She was preceded in death by a son Gary, two brothers Jerry and Norman; as well as brothers in law and sisters law.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2014, 11:00 am at St. John the Baptist, 516 DePere St. Menasha with Paider officiating. Family and friends will received at the church on Thursday from 10:00 am until hour of mass.  Interment will be in St. John Cemetery, Menasha.
