Donna Mae Nelson

Donna Nelson, age 68, of Menasha, passed away at Divine Savior Hospital in Portage on Tuesday, June 4, 2013.She was born in Appleton on October 19, 1944. Donna graduated from Appleton West. She was united in marriage on May 23, 1964 to James H. Nelson in Appleton. James and Donna used to bowl in a couples league. She loved camping, watching sporting events, and collecting raccoons.

Donna is survived by her husband of 49 years, James H. Nelson; one son, James H. Nelson III; further survived by other relatives and dear friends. She was preceded in death by and infant daughter, Jessica; her parents, and one sister, Carol (Marty) Leary.

Funeral Service for Donna will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 9, 2013 at Martens-Laemmrich Funeral Home, 312 Milwaukee Street, with Rev. Lynne Spencer-Smith officiating. Friends and family may visit at the FUNERAL HOME from 2:30 p.m. until the time of service.
