Died in his home on Wednesday July 10, 2013 of natural causes.

Karl was preceded in death by his parents and brother Erick (Rick).

Survived by siblings Karen, Donald, Jenny, Ande, Kerstin and nine nieces and nephews.

Karl was born January 28, 1952 in Minneapolis, MN

A veteran of Vietnam Karl was a helicopter repairman and later attended Spartan Collegel of Aeronautics.

He was a Senior Aircraft Technician at General Dynamics Aviation Services and Airworthiness Inspector for Gulfstream Aerospace.

Karl lived in Minneapolis and St. Cloud, MN where he attained his pilot’s license, San Angelo, TX, Acworth, GA, Memphis, TN, Lakeville, MN and Menasha, WI.

Excepting for the time in Georgia where he helped care for his ailing brother Rick, all were places where he worked on airplanes and pursued his passion of radio control soaring, most recently flying with the Valley Aero Modelers and the League of Silent Flight.
