Margaret Mary Dresen

Margaret M. Dresen, age 72, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2011, at Colony Oaks in Appleton, WI. On November 4, 1938, Margaret was born to the late Frank J. and Margaret P. (Knippel) Dresen. She had been a faithful member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Menasha, WI. For 30 years, Margie worked for All City Communications and retired in 1995 to pursue craftwork, reading and music. As a member of the quartet group Sweet Adelines, Margie participated in regional performances and loved this association for many years.

Margie will be missed by her brothers and sister: John, Jim (Fran), and Frank (Jean) Dresen and Barbara Diehl; a niece Jody; and a dear friend Karen Much.

She was also preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Phyllis Dresen, and a brother-in-law, Dan Diehl.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 516 De Pere Street, Menasha, WI with Fr. Paul Paider officiating. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established for Colony Oaks.
