Sylvia Frances Van Asten

Sylvia enjoyed sewing clothing for herself, going square dancing, and also going on bus trips.

Sylvia will be missed by her three children: Marie (Jim) Sigl, Hortonville; Paul Van Asten, Hines, Oregon; Tom Van Asten, Menasha; her three grandchildren: Anne (John), David, and Danielle; and three great-grandchildren: Austin, Jennifer, and John.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Leola.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 4, 2013, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 222 E. Fremont Street, Appleton. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the hour of the Mass at the church. Interment will take place in St. John Cemetery, Town of Menasha. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
