I treated Annie while she was receiving out patient care in Hemet. We became close and I shared with her my desire to have a child one day. She then offered to pray for me and asked the Lord to bless me with a little girl. She was eventually discharged after months of recovery. Days later I found out I was pregnant with a little girl. I named my daughter after her. Annie and I may have only been friends for a short period of time but she made a huge impact on me and I think of her often. I am so sorry for her loss.

Mama, I miss you. I miss the fun times we had laughing talking and just hanging out I miss the smile on your face when you see me.Thank you for everything you taught me in life. When I make my potato salad I’m gonna think of you. “Girl you made that potato salad” Now you in heaven with Henry and Deborah waiting on the rest of us to join you one day….  I LOVE YOU MAMA ❤️🙏🏾

Dear Grandma Anna, 

You have always since I was a baby. I wil never forget, the love you showed me and the prayers you prayed for me. 

I will never forget how hilarious you were and how much of a great chef you were and the humongous role you played on my mother and Grandfather life for them to be as great of people as they are/were.

My best memories with Momo is her making a pot of greens and cream carrots. I know I never gave her, her little girl because the two boys I have are too bad but, I will still think of her in the future just in case I am not done yet. I will still have little Anna. 

I have a message from Grandma and she said to stop all that, I am living it up Baby!

To my beautiful Aunty Anne, 

You have always been a solider for God. You were a faithful servant, what a beautiful soul. You are my twin. RIP, we will re-unite in Paradise. Rest well Aunty. I love you so much.

I miss you so much and I wish we could have spent more time together. I know how comfortable it is up there and I hope you are having fun with Grandma Deborah. I love you and I hope you are doing good.

To my Aunt Anne, 

Thank you so much for being a wonderful Aunty to me. I haven't seen you since I Was younger but I have beautiful memories of your smile, your hugs, and your kisses. I grew up listening to stories from my grandmother of you guys' childhood. I laughed a lot and I can remember my grandmother simling as she tells me these stories. We are all going to miss you Aunty. Please tell Jeffrey, I love him and miss him also.

My favorite memory was when my dad had to trick my Grandma into coming to Arizona and I got to have her live with us for about a month. We use to have bible study after football practice.  I wish I still had more time with her to share the same type of events. IF i can hear one more thing, I would want to hear her say, "Yeeaahhh" in her sourthern belle accent.

My condolences to my favorite cousin/sister. I love you all so much. I You all have done such a great job putting together Aunt Anne services. It was an extraordinary and very professional event. You guys stay strong and stay in the good grace of God. You guys are all in my prayers.

My son, Robert when he was a little boy, he had really bad asthma. One day Grandma Anne prayed over him and he never had another asthma attack since. She gave all three of my sons the "Sinners Prayer"  I love you and you will be missed. You were a treasure on this earth and you sure will shine at home with your father.

Grandmother was the only person that had a voicemail that said, "If you calling with love, joy, peace and happiness, leave a message. If you calling with confusion please, hand up. Heaven is high and Hell is low." Forever in my heart, My second mother. Love, Tynisha

I met your mom via video chat, and I can tell how wonderful she was through our conversation and knowing you. We reflect the best parts of our parents thanks to the loving way they raised us. Take comfort in your memories as you grieve.

To my nieces and nephew....it's hard to find words of encouragements when your hearts are  full of hurt and felling lost. Just trust the God will give you strength to continue and guide you as you move forward without your mother.

I can still remember as a child how Aunt Ann would always provide family and friends alike an infectious smile. I still recall the good food she always made, and the fun and games we played while at her house in L.A. You were an important part of my upbringing and helped me to understand how important our creole culture is, and our family's lineage. May the good Lord bless you in his heavenly kingdom, rest in peace. I will miss you dearly, love, lil Riv.
