Anna Lee Smith was born in Maringouin Louisiana to parents Herbert Smith and Daisy Ventress Smith.
Anna was the 5th of seven siblings and was educated in Virginia Beach, Virginia . Upon graduating, Anna returned to Maringouin where she married. The marriage produced eight children who she dedicated her life to by being a stay at home mom, who loved and cherished her family.
Anna always loved the holidays and always graced her family with cooking incredibly delicious meals. Her signature Gumbo, potato salad, pecan candy, red beans and rice was just a few of the many dishes she mastered.
Anna’s kindness and unconditional love had no boundaries and touched all who met her.
