The only boy born to April and Michael Driever, Blake arrived earlier than expected on March 4, 1997, in Riverside, California. He departed too soon at his family home in Menifee, on September 30, 2025, at the age of 28.
Blake loved his family and made a habit of telling them. He gave amazing hugs, and his laugh was contagious. All you had to do was ask, and he would be there to help. Many days after school, his nephew Gage, would race straight up to his room to share in his enjoyment of video games or anime shows. He was also known to join in on the occasional tea party with his niece, Amelia. It is impossible to find a recent photograph of him without his nieces or nephew.
Christmas was Blake’s favorite holiday; he would always be the first awake, excited for the day. He looked forward to the times the whole family would get a cabin in the mountains before the holiday to play in the snow and have quality time together full of fun and laughter.
He was a lover and protector of animals. When he was a teenager, he brought a tiny little kitten home in his pocket, and his eldest sister took her in and raised the pretty little demon cat for 10 wonderful years. Two years ago, he brought home Blu, a young German Shephard Husky mix who he saved from being abandoned in the desert and is now cared for by his parents and cherished by the whole family.
A loving son, a good brother, and a fun uncle; Blake will be forever remembered by his mother, April; his father, Michael; his sisters Heather, Melissa, Crystal, and Kathleen; his brother-in-law Steven; his nephew Gage; his nieces Amelia and Harper; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A service will be held in his memory at Miller Jones Mortuary, 26770 Murrieta Rd. Menifee, CA 92585, on Friday, October 24, 2025, at 1:00PM. The family will receive visitors afterward at The Lake House, 28307 Newport Road, Menifee, CA.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to a local animal rescue shelter such as Animal Friends of the Valley https://www.animalfriendsofthevalleys.com or Ronald McDonalds House Charities rmhcsd.org in Blake’s honor.
