

Charles, affectionately known as Mac passed away peacefully on March 3, 2026, at the age of 100. Born on September 30, 1925, in Warren, Ohio, to Raymond and Edith McGregor. He was a resident of Menifee, California. Charles lived a life marked by love, dedication, and kindness.
A proud veteran, Charles served honorably in the US Navy during World War II and the Korean War. His courage and commitment were hallmarks of his character. In 1954, he moved to California, where he forged a successful career in the automotive industry as a used car salesman and general manager. His entrepreneurial spirit also led him to own a 7-11 store and a Foster Freeze. He retired as a Vice President of County Burner & Machinery Corp.
Charles was married to Shirley McGregor, with whom he shared a devoted partnership until her passing. Together, they built a loving family, including son David McGregor and his wife Carol, and daughter Jill Conti with her husband Tony. Charles is survived by four grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
He was known for his love of golf, long walks, and his kindness to everyone. Charles's compassion touched many lives, and his legacy will endure in the hearts of those who knew him. Though deeply missed, his spirit lives on, reunited with Shirley in eternity.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Miller-Jones Menifee Memorial Park and Mortuary, 26770 Murrieta Rd., Menifee, CA 92585, US, on April 11, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm
